100 years of film his­to­ry from many dif­fer­ent coun­tries and lan­guages​yield a rich repos­i­to­ry of con­tem­po­rary and cul­tur­al­ly spe­cif­ic inter­pre­ta­tions. How many themes can be pre­sent­ed in par­al­lel? What will be the focal points of the vis­it? How will vis­i­tors, espe­cial­ly younger vis­i­tors, nav­i­gate the instal­la­tion? What addi­tion­al equip­ment can serve or reveal a use­ful effect?

The dra­matur­gy of the film analy­sis and the pre­cise edit­ing influ­ence the spa­tial and expe­ri­en­tial dra­matur­gy; only this gives the film analy­sis and the­mat­ic syn­the­sis the nec­es­sary clar­i­ty. Con­tent and spa­tial struc­ture must enter into a dia­log­ic process that results in a spa­tial­ly rhetor­i­cal­ly con­vinc­ing solu­tion.
