Louise Bourgeois I have been to hell and back
chezweitz – following Lee Lozano, Andy Warhol, Max Ernst, and Hilma af Klint – has now developed a corresponding spatial configuration for the Moderna Musset for the fifth time. The scenography allows the work of the artist of the century to be experienced sensually, vividly, and above all physically. It is the figure of the web, in which the nodes and intersections represent and mark the connections and spaces of movement. Through this spatial network, with its narrow points and intersections, visitors experience a visual connection and guidance. The resulting spaces serve as vessels for the works and curated groups. Thus, the web, like the spider, is the leitmotif of the scenography; all paths center, narrowing towards the center, but in these narrow points they are simultaneously passageways that continually evoke new facets of the work from a perspective.
