Alter Hafen

Sceno­graph­ic Con­cept for the ​“Old Har­bor” at Tem­pel­hofer Feld, Berlin

This project rep­re­sents the devel­op­ment of a sceno­graph­ic con­cept for the ​“Alter Hafen”/“Old Har­bor” to bring the site at Tem­pel­hofer Feld and its his­tor­i­cal traces and relics to life.
In close col­lab­o­ra­tion with GROSS.MAX. land­scape archi­tects and in dia­logue with the client of the study, we devel­oped for­mats and place­ment sce­nar­ios for the ​“Alter Hafen”/“Old Har­bor” as the his­tor­i­cal ori­gin of the air­port devel­op­ment at Tem­pel­hofer Feld. The con­cept was trans­lat­ed into a con­crete design, which formed the basis for the sub­se­quent IGA com­pe­ti­tion ​“Alter Hafen”/Old Har­bor.” The brief for the IGA com­pe­ti­tion ​“Alter Hafen”/Old Har­bor” referred to the tem­po­rary space struc­ture and exhi­bi­tion plan­ning with an artis­tic, per­for­ma­tive focus.
